Yes, in either direction, and a change to an existing subscription is applied to that subscription rather than starting a second one. Upgrades take effect immediately so the higher limits are available straight away; billing is prorated by Stripe.

No. The people filling out your intakes never see a bill, an account wall, or a signup form. They open a link, have the conversation, and are done. Only the business running the intake has a subscription.

Yes, on every paid plan. Starter and above remove the "powered by Intake" mark from the chat, so an embedded conversation reads as part of your own site.

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe, billed monthly, and cancellable at any time from your settings. Checkout collects the address and tax details Stripe needs for your jurisdiction, and invoices are available in the billing portal.
